Overview
Microsoft Dynamics 365 is migrating users to an updated version that changes the user interface. Instead of tabs across the top of each page, the new Unified Interface has its tabs on the left hand side. KORE's CRM-integrated products support the new Unified Interface.
While this changes the user experience, it does have many advantages such as the ability to assign security roles by app and controlling views such as those on the account or contact by app.
Unified Interface apps
KORE now offers each module as a Unified Interface app. You do not have to install these new versions of KORE apps right away; all of your existing KORE functionality will continue to work, although Dynamics will show a message warning you that you're still using the legacy versions of the apps
Transitioning to the new interface
If you wish, you can switch to the new interface before Microsoft does this automatically for you.
First, open a new support request and ask KORE to install our updated CRM packages for you.
Once the new packages are installed, open the Admin Center and select the app, then toggle "Unified Behavior" to use the Unified Interface only. KORE recommends installing the app and disabling it for all users while you configure the app to fit your team.
Here's what the left-side menu of the new Unified Interface looks like:
