Data Tags include tags via CACI Acorn, Experian and any other bespoke tags that may have been created for your specific database. Clients that use Data Tags will be able to view more information about them within SRM Data.
View/edit/archive Tags
- After logging in to APPS, navigate to the SRM Data module from the dashboard on the left-hand side and select Tags.
- The Tag Lookup page will now appear, showing all tag categories and names. From here you can manage all tags. Click the Archive Tag icon to archive the tag and any underlying Tag Values or click View Tag Values to view and edit.
- To archive that specific Tag Value, click on the Archive Tag icon. Alternatively to edit the tag, click on the Update Formatted Value icon.
- Here you will see the Update Formatted Value page. Tag Value Raw displays the name as it is received from the source. By default, Tag Value Formatted is the same as Tag Value Raw. It is possible to rename the Tag Value to have a better understanding of what the value means or to group multiple values to one unified value. Select a new value from the dropdown or input a new value if required. Click Update Formatted Value to save the new value.
Locating Data Tags in Contact Management
The Tag Lookup can be used to identify what the various Tag IDs relate to when looking at a specific customer profile in Contact Management.
- Navigate to the Contact Management module from the dashboard on the left-hand side.
- Select a Search Criteria from the dropdown menu and then add a search value in the box. If searching by Forename, Surname, Postcode or Date of Birth, you will need to enter TWO search values (e.g. Forename and surname, Postcode and Forename etc.)
- Click Search.
- The search will return all records with matching criteria, with an overview of the main contact details. Records that have been grouped together will display the same GroupID.
- Select one of the records and click on View details & update GroupID.
- Any Data Tags associated with the contact record can be found on the right-hand side underneath Tags.

Locating Data Tags in the Filter Builder
The Tag Lookup is also useful as a guide of which Data Tag nodes you may find in the Filter Builder.
- Navigate to the SRM Campaign module from the dashboard on the left-hand side and select Builder.
- The Filter Builder page will now appear. In the node menu on the left-hand side, go to Roles where your data tag nodes will be listed under the dropdown menu of Tags.
