Overview
KORE Sponsorship, Fan Engagement, and Suites & Premium, are being integrated into our new unified Platform and centralized user management (see https://help.koresoftware.com/hc/en-us/articles/22543920363799-KORE-Platform-Overview for more information). Our CRM integrated products are currently leveraging an older security model (“Legacy Authentication”) that authenticates directly with your CRM.
Due to the nature of integrating with CRM platforms, we will require SSO configurations for our CRM integrated products going forward. Our goal is to have all customers using Legacy Authentication move to the new Platform solution before the end of 2024.
We are building a roll out plan to minimize the disruption to your organization and effort required to migrate. Your Customer Success Representative will be in touch with a migration plan and timeline in the coming months.

End User Impact
Your users should experience no noticeable changes when using our CRM integrated products with the new Platform - users will still be able to seamlessly log into your CRM system and access KORE. The changes are limited to back-end configuration. Once switched over, users and organizations should anticipate the following benefits:
- Reduced credential entry
- Simplified password management
- In cases where SSO was not previously set up, users of non CRM integrated products would have separate KORE user credentials (username and password) that could be different than the credentials used to access your network or CRM. Now it will be the same login for all KORE products
- Improved user management and security:
- IT departments can centrally manage users without needing to worry about administering separate platforms
Rollout Process
KORE will require some engagement to assist with SSO configuration for your environment. While more detailed instructions will be provided, here is a high-level overview of the steps required:
- Initial assessment: KORE will analyze the customer's configurations and explore available SSO options.
- Federation setup: KORE will collaborate with the customer to establish SSO federation with the customer's Identity Provider (IdP). It's important to note that SSO activation will not take place at this stage.
- SSO activation: A specific time will be scheduled for activating SSO with KORE’s products. Please be aware that a 30-minute outage window will be necessary after regular business hours for this process.
What’s needed by me?
The onboarding process will depend on your configuration and scenario: whether you have other KORE products with existing KORE User Logins and what CRM you are using. KORE may need your assistance to:
- Identify the domains that your users use to log into KORE products
- Identify the SSO configuration required by your organization and what identify provider should be used
- Review a list of existing KORE user logins and check to see if they are mapped correctly to your identify provider
- Connect with your IT resources in your organization to setup SSO and Federate your IDP (i.e. an Azure Administrator or Salesforce Administrator)
- Work with KORE to enable SSO across non-CRM integrated products first before enabling SSO on Sponsorship, Ticketing, and Suites & Premium
- Identify a cutover time to enable the new authentication and assist with testing - this only requires a short down time and is recommended to be done at the end of a business day to reduce any impact to users.
Expected Timeframe
Customers can expect a phased rollout beginning in Q1 2024 and continue throughout 2024 with completion expected by Q3 2024. We will be starting with Dynamics 365 customers primarily before working with Salesforce environments.
A KORE Customer Success Representative will get in touch with further information and KORE will provide a rough timeline when your organization is scheduled for implementation.
