The following document contains instructions on how to update the local KORE ProSports solution content installed in your Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce system. This article will always be updated with links to the most up-to-date solution content.
After updating the solution, send a note to the KORE Helpdesk (help@koresoftware.com) to notify them that your solution has been updated so that they can enable the latest features in your environment.

Microsoft Dynamics Update Process
General Notes
1. MSCRM on premise clients it is recommended to back up your CRM database prior to this process. Please make sure you have no unpublished customizations before proceeding.
2. This process can take over 30 minutes to complete, it is recommended to do this outside of working hours as it can impact other users in the system.
Backup Customized Solution
1. Navigate to Settings->Solutions and under the list of All Solutions
a. If you do not have a solution with the name koreps_backup (If you do, proceed to b.)
i. Click “New” to create one with the following details:
Display Name: koreps_backup
Publisher: Default Publisher for CRM
Version: 1.0
Description: PSS Backup
ii. Click the disk icon to Save, then click “Entities”
iii. Click “Add Existing” and select all entities that have had their form(s) customized (Common examples are: Account, Contact, Phone Call) click “OK”
*NOTE - There is pagination so you may need to repeat this step for entities on separate pages.
iv. When prompted regarding Missing Required Components, select “No, do not include required components” (they will be included in the primary ProSports Solution)
v. Repeat ii. – iv. for all other customized Components (Common examples are: Option Sets and Security Roles)
vi. In the Client Extensions Component Add Existing Sitemap and Application Ribbons (if you have modified it)
vii. Click “Save and Close”
b. Now that you have a solution with the name koreps_backup
i. You can double click the solution to add any additional Components to your backup.
ii. Click the name “koreps_backup” to checkmark the solution and then click “Export”
iii. Keep all the defaults and export the Unmanaged solution to your hard drive
c. Navigate to the Data Management area of CRM and click Duplicate Detection Settings. Take note of any Published duplicate detection rules, as importing a solution will disable these rules and they need to be manually enabled after importing the solution.
d. Import the just-exported solution and Publish to confirm your backup will import without issues.
Import Quarterly Release
1. Download the appropriate quarterly release to your computer. See the file names below and attached to this article
a. ProSportsStandard_12_0_0_4_managed.zip(note that this package can be used for both MSCRM2015 and MSCRM2016)
b. For earlier versions of CRM, please submit support request.
2. Navigate to Settings->Solutions and under the list of All Solutions
a. Click Import and browse to the location of the release
b. When prompted Maintain Customizations
c. This process will complete with warnings, click “Close”
Import Backup
1. Navigate to Settings->Solutions and under the list of All Solutions
a. Click Import and browse to the location of the exported backup
b. Click “Next” then “Import”
2. Once the import completes successfully “Publish All Customizations” then “Close”
3. Navigate to Data Management -> Duplicate Detection Settings and re-publish any rules that were disabled during the import.

Salesforce Update Process
Import Quarterly Release
1. Log in to your Salesforce environment.
2. While logged in to your environment, paste the following quarterly release url into the web browser navigation bar (Last Updated: September 2017)
a. URL: https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t0H0000015h5W
3. Select “Install for All Users” and click “Upgrade”
