Supported warehouses
Helix works seamlessly with KORE Data Warehouse and Analytics (DWA). If your organization uses DWA, you're all set!
Helix can also support these other data warehouses:
Add a non-DWA warehouse
First, ensure that Helix can connect to your warehouse. Most warehouses use an allow list of IP addresses—add these entries to your allow list:
44.241.64.122/32
44.232.132.41/32
Next, create a read-only database user for Helix. You can grant access to your entire warehouse, or limit the account to only the schema objects you want to use with Helix.
Finally, sign in to Helix with an account that has admin privileges. Open the Setup page, then navigate to the Database Connections tab and select the + New Database Connection button.
Select which type of external warehouse you use and click Create.
Enter the required connection details into the form, including the user name and password for the Helix read-only account you created. (The form will differ slightly depending on which warehouse you use.) For the Display Name field, we suggest using the name of your warehouse software (such as SQL Server) if you don't have a preference. Click Save when finished.
