Overview
Helix is a fan intelligence platform that acts as your "source of truth" and empowers you to improve the automation and personalization of your engagement efforts. By uniting and merging data from numerous sources into a single customer record, every department in your organization can make data-driven decisions that support your business goals.
Helix integrates seamlessly with KORE Data Warehouse and Analytics and KORE Ticketing, but the platform is also compatible with some non-KORE data warehouses.
What can Helix help me with?
Here are just a few sample use cases Helix can solve:
Create highly focused market segments
Set specific criteria, such as:
- lifetime spend over $1000,
- newsletter subscriber, and
- no CRM opportunity currently open.
Learn about the selected group of fans:
- How many fans matched these criteria?
- What's the median lifetime spend of these fans?
- What percentage of these fans are aged 18-25, 26-35, 36-45, etc...?
Export the list of selected fans into your email marketing system.
Trigger personalized actions
Create a trigger event, such as a customer signing in to your venue's WiFi system.
Identify the fan: does the information they provided (e.g. name and email address) match anyone already in your system?
- Yes: Pull together the details to inform your next action: tags, spend level, ticket types, retention score, etc...
- No: Create a new Golden Record to build upon.
Take personalized action:
- Do they have a low spend level? Send them a discount coupon for team merchandise to encourage them to shop.
- Do they have season tickets and a low retention score? Send a service representative to visit them in person and ensure they have a great experience today.
- Is it their birthday? Help them celebrate it with an e-voucher for a free beverage.
Know more about who you're calling when you call
Need to call a season ticket holder that you haven't spoken to since last year? Pull up their information in your CRM. Helix provides you with tags and attributes so you can personalize the call:
- Are they more comfortable conversing in Spanish than English?
- Do they have young children?
- What percentage of their tickets did they utilize last season?

Matching rules
Main article: Matching rules
To assemble a Golden Record from multiple sources, we have to first identify all the data which belongs to the same person. Different sources have different ways of storing the "same" data (such as name or address), so we use matching rules to make decisions. Helix allows you to customize the matching rules to best meet your unique needs.
Golden Record selection rules
Main article: Assemble Golden Records
When combining data from multiple sources, not all data is of the same quality. The Golden Record rules allow you to customize which data sets you prefer for a particular field. For example, you might trust one source to have the most accurate phone numbers for your fans, but there's a second source you could fall back to if the first source is missing that data for someone.
Categories, tags, and attributes
Main articles: Categories, Tags, and Attributes
Once you have a set of Golden Records, you can select a set of fans that have certain traits in common. Tags can answer "yes / no" questions, such as "Does this fan have any children?" Attributes help you group fans together when a there's a longer list of possible answers, such as "What age group is this fan in?" Tags and attributes are most useful when you have lots of them, so each one must belong to a category for sorting.
Inspector tool
Main article: Inspect an individual Golden Record
A Golden Record ties together data from several sources. The inspector tool provides a visualization of how Helix connects those records together, including intermediate connections between two records that don't directly match. The tool also shows which specific matching rules were used, helping you understand any unexpected connections or discover mistakes in the matching rules.
Audience Builder
