Because different steps of the Approval Workflow often need to be approved by different users, we use approval groups to specify which users can approve which steps.
Note: If you have a step which only one person may approve, you must still create an approval group and add that person to it.
To begin, navigate to Configuration Records > KORE > Approval Group.
Any existing approval groups are listed on this page. Click the Create New Approval Group button to add another, or the Edit label to edit an existing one.
Next, enter a name for the group (such as "Sales Managers") and set the state code to "Active" so it's available for us. Then click Save.
On the following page, you can click the Create New Approval Group User to add one member at a time.
Verify that the correct approval group is selected, then click the magnifying glass icon to search for users.
This opens a new window. Use the search field to find the desired user, then click that user's name.
Finally, verify that the user's name is displayed and click the Save button in the main window.
To add another user, you must return to the CRM record of the approval group. This is because an "approval group" is really a container of records, and each record represents one user in the group. Verify that the user you added is listed as a group member, then click the Create New Approval Group User button to repeat the process as needed.
