Below is a summary of the permissions available in Activate and details about what access it provides to users. With Custom User Groups, admins may create new user groups and control which permissions the users in the group will have access to. The permissions listed here will match the text in the permissions tab under Activate settings.
This table represents all permissions, so some organizations may not see some options due to feature toggles or integration with other products.

View All Accounts |
User is able to see the Accounts menu item and click into an account to see account details. This permission does not apply to organizations integrated with Sponsorship & Partner Engagement, unless the Manage Accounts and Contacts feature toggle is turned ON. |
Create and Edit Accounts |
User can see the +New Account , Edit Account , and New Contact buttons. Users can edit Contacts as well. This permission does not apply to organizations integrated with Sponsorship & Partner Engagement, unless the Manage Accounts and Contacts feature toggle is turned ON. |

Task |
View Tasks Page |
View the tasks page from the left navigation. The Tasks feature toggle needs to be turned on for your organization to see all of the permissions in the task section. Please reach out to your customer success rep if you have any questions. |
Create Tasks | User has the ability to create new tasks. | |
Edit and Delete Tasks | Task tab in deals includes a drop-down to show “All Tasks”. User may edit or delete all tasks. | |
Edit My Tasks | User has ability to edit only the tasks they are a member of. | |
Asset |
View Inventory Page |
User can see the Assets menu item. Asset side panel is read only. The permissions in the Assets section only apply to organizations with the Assets feature toggle turned ON. This permission does not apply to organizations integrated with Sponsorship & Partner Engagement. |
Create, Edit, Delete Assets |
User can edit and delete Assets. This also gives users the ability to create, edit, and delete Product, Division, and Category. This permission does not apply to organizations integrated with Sponsorship & Partner Engagement. |

View My Deals |
User can only see the deals they are a member of. |
View All Deals | User can see all deals, even if they are not a member. The My Deals vs. All Deals dropdown appears on the deals page. | |

View Deal Details |

Fields in the Asset Side Panel are editable. Users are able to access the full page slider for Delivery. If a user group has this permission, they will be able to see the "Internal Remarks" field. Otherwise, it will be hidden. |

Roll Over Deal Assets |
User sees the Roll Over Deal Assets button on the Deals page. This permission does not apply to organizations integrated with Sponsorship & Partner Engagement. |

Edit All Reports | User can modify reports created by other users, but not the system default reports. User can still save a copy of a default report as their own to make modifications to it. | |

View All Files |
User can see and download files uploaded by anybody. The permissions in the File section only apply to organizations with the File feature toggle turned ON. |
View Public Files | User can only see and download files that have the “Make Public” checkbox checked. | |
Edit All Files | User can re-name, download, and delete all files whether they uploaded it or not. | |
Set/Unset File as Public | User can access the “Make Public” checkbox. | |

Edit Organization Profile | Users are able to access the Org profile tab and change color and branding for the org. |
Edit Permissions | Users are able to access the Permissions tab and change permissions for Custom User Groups. | |
Edit System Configurations | Users are able to access the System Configurations tab to access setting toggles and add various categories such as Account Groups, Deal Types, etc. | |
Insights |
View Dashboard |
