Note: This Deal Manager tab will only appear after you use the Save Changes button to save a draft deal sheet in the system. You can also advance a deal by opening the deal sheet CRM view.
Organizations can use the Approval Workflow to set rules for which deal sheets need approval, what stages they need it at, who can approve them, and more. As these rules will be specific to your org, ask your admin for help if needed.
In the Advance Deal tab, you will see the next step in the Approval Workflow and the actions you can take as defined by your org. (In this example, the step is "Draft Deal Sheet" and you can either submit for manager approval or mark the deal as lost.)
After clicking OK, the system will evaluate the Approval Workflow rules and send an email to the necessary approver(s). They may approve the step or require changes. Once they've acted, you should receive an email informing you of the next action to take.
You can also generate a deal summary report for yourself or to share with another member of your organization.
Warning: Do not share the deal summary report with your partners. It includes details about your rate cards! This report is only for your organization's internal use.
Use the Download Deal Summary Report button to download a PDF, or click the search icon to choose members of your organization to send it to via email.
If you are sending the report to others, use the + (plus) icon to add a user to the list. You can use the search box to help find someone, but you won't be able to send the report to anyone not listed here.
Once you've selected recipients, click the Send button.
