Overview
KORE Sponsorship provides more advanced deal-making capabilities than standalone Activate offers. If your organization uses both products, deals created in Sponsorship will be synced to Activate so you can use its features to execute on delivery.
How sync works
As part of the Sponsorship Approval Workflow, each deal's status code (draft, proposed, or contracted) may be updated. When a deal's status is set to "contracted", KORE immediately syncs the deal into Activate. (This process usually completes very quickly, but could occasionally take up to five minutes.)
When a deal is contracted in Sponsorship, it will typically be locked to prevent changes. However, a deal can be unlocked and changed by users with the necessary permissions. If this happens, the changes will be synced to Activate when they are saved in Sponsorship as long as the deal remains in the "contracted" status.
If a deal's status is changed from "contracted" to something else, that deal will be deactivated in Activate.
Information synced and omitted
Activate receives data which includes the deal itself, the season(s) it applies to, the inventory items included, legal remarks tied to those inventory items, and the rate cards which apply.
Activate does not receive ordinary CRM data like addresses and salesperson or coordinator information. It also does not receive any deal-level legal notes nor any billing information.
Advanced options
Each deal sheet has a CRM record which can be opened by clicking its deal sheet number. Use the Edit button to change the advanced options if needed.

Sync deal prior to contracting
Caution: Using this option is not a best practice. Activating assets without a contract in place may expose you to business risks.
Sometimes, you may be certain that a deal will close in the future but you need to begin activating prior to it actually being signed and contracted. Use this option to sync the deal to Activate even if its status is set to "draft" or "proposed".
Hide deal in Activate
Occasionally, a deal might not require any activation steps. You can use this option to prevent such deals from appearing in Activate.
